History
Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) and Samsung decided to
launch a world-class MBA program, in the name of SKK Graduate
School of Business (SKK GSB), in collaboration with MIT
Sloan School of Management.
Strong leadership
Founding Dean Robert C. Klemkosky, has set the global
standard in all academic and administrative matters and
successfully built up SKK GSB as a unique US-style MBA
program in Korea.
Strategic collaboration with MIT
Sloan School of Management SKK GSB has a stout collaboration
with MIT Sloan :
- Teaching by Sloan faculty in Seoul
- Students' visit to Sloan to spend a portion of their
second year
- Faculty workshops between SKK GSB and MIT Sloan
Curriculum
MBA curriculum in SKK GSB combines a deep understanding
of intellectual foundations with
teamwork, cutting-edge
management research, and practical applications. The curriculum was patterned after those from the top MBA programs
in the US and developed together with MIT Sloan.
Faculty
Since 2004 SKK GSB successfully recruited highly regarded faculty
from all over the world. SKK GSB faculty and visiting faculty
from MIT Sloan will train our students a potential business
leaders.
Students Activity
The experience at SKK GSB will be greatly enhanced by an enormous
range of activities and opportunities found on campus and in
Seoul.

Study Abroad Program (SAP)
Students in SKK GSB have the option of spending their third
semester in one of the prestigious business schools in the US.
In addition to our main partner MIT Sloan School of Management,
SKK GSB set exchange arrangements with Northwestern Kellogg,
Michigan Ross, Indiana Kelley, and Columbia Business School,
and is actively developing partnerships with other highly regarded
US business schools.
