The Semiconductor System Engineering curriculum was
newly designed in close collaboration with the Semiconductor
Division of Samsung Electronics in the form of theory-practice-internship
based training by Samsung Electronics experts and other
outstanding faculty to foster semiconductor experts.
Currently enrolled students are exempted from all tuition
fees and supported by a Samsung Electronics’ scholarship
subsidy of $8500 annually, and any graduate can benefit
from entering the Samsung Electronics after they pass
the minimum vocational test.
A 7900 m2-scale semiconductor research/education center
will be completed around Feb. in 2008, and the administration
will exclusively focus on supporting and caring for
educational and career-related matters that are important
to students; in addition, it will also hold a Freshman
Orientation in the U.S. and China where the Samsung
Electronics operates their international subsidiaries.

1. Train challenging and initiative human resources to produce
innovative change in semiconductor technology.
2. Train innovative human resources to create and add a new
value in semiconductor industry.
3. Train globalized human resources with significant knowledge
and work experience in the semiconductor industry.
4. Train practice-oriented human resources to lead and set
the standard for high-technology through research and development
with specializing in the semiconductor industry.
