Welcome to the web site of the International Office at Sungkyunkwan University. Our goal in providing this site for your use and the reason our office exists is to serve the international community at Sungkyunkwan University. This of course includes providing support to our students, scholars and researchers. To all of you we remain committed and extend our thanks for the many ways in which you enrich the SKKU academic community.
To accomplish our mission, we provide a number of services:
- Processing of all required legal documents required for nonimmigrant students and scholars,
- Provision of advisory and counseling services,
- Serve as a liaison to university departments, South Korea and foreign government agencies and the greater community,
- Facilitate the assimilation of international students and scholars into the larger SKKU Community, and
- Contribute to the international community's cross-cultural understanding and appreciation.
In carrying out these tasks we operate on the notion that satisfaction with our services enhances the wellbeing of our academic community as a whole. In pursuing this principal we are continuously looking for ways to improve the way we assist you and as such we welcome your feedback through this site. We also make a firm pledge to you that as our international guests we will do our best to meet your needs.
