The Sungkyunkwan Graduate School of China at SKKU (Dean: Yong June KIM) invited 13 delegates from 6 institutions at 5 prestigious Chinese partner universities, to the 1st ‘SKK GSC – Partner University Forum’ held from Jan 15th (Sun) to Jan 18th (Wed).

The aim of this forum was to strengthen current collaborative relationships with Chinese counterparts of SKK GSC, and to provide an opportunity for SKK GSC’s faculties, staff, and students, as well as the delegates from the partner universities, to develop further collaboration on student mobility programs. Through various activities such as a conference on student mobility programs, host university information sessions for GSC students, and a welcome dinner reception, participants were able to develop their engagement.

13 invitees from Peking University's Guanghua School of Management and National School of Development, Renmin University's School of Business, Fudan University's School of Economics, Shanghai Jiaotong University's Antai College of Economics and Management, and Zhejiang University's School of Management, had a chance to introduce their programs at information sessions.

Other than the meeting and information sessions, SKK GSC provided various activities such as; old Sungkyunkwan tour and Kimchi making experience in order to pave the way for closer and sustainable ties with Chinese universities. SKK GSC will hold this event every year to develop a solid platform for robust discussions on Sino-Korea joint research and student exchange programs between SKK GSC and current and potential Chinese partners.
