|TITLE||The France Ambassador to Korea Visits SKKU|
meeting with SKKU’s president, Kyu Sang CHUNG on June 22th (Thursday).
At the meeting, they exchanged ideas to develop the cooperation between France and SKKU. In particular, the attendees had a discussion about expanding the boundaries of their exchange activities from culture, art, and language fields to business management, basic science, and engineering. They talked about the need for exchange activities for graduate and Ph.D. students, for dual-degree programs, and for MBA programs between distinguished universities in France and Korea. They also shared their development plans and strategies for supporting start-up corporations from the connection between French Tech Hub and SKKU’s Special Graduate School of Global Start-Up. Furthermore, they agreed to develop am exchange and cooperation program for K-MOOC (Korean Massive Open Online Course) and F-MOOC (France Massive Open Online Course) so that students from the two countries can have a better understanding of and more interest in each other.
From this meeting, the bilateral ties between France and SKKU are expected to develop further.
