SKKU’s internationalization policy is to build strategic alliances with prestigious, innovative, and prolific universities to foster greater exchange and aid in the development of knowledge that will benefit humanity worldwide. With this in mind SKKU has targeted universities abroad with a reginal approach and formed close collaborative relationships with them.
In Europe, SKKU has developed strategic partnerships with Leiden University in the Netherlands, the University of Copenhagen in Denmark, RWTH Aachen University in Germany, and Trinity College Dublin in Ireland.
In the USA, SKKU has formed a close network with Pennsylvania State University, the University of Minnesota, Indiana University, and the University of British Columbia.
Asian strategic partners include Peking University, Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Renmin University, Huang Jing University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Jilin University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Zhejiang University, Hokkaido, Tohoku, Nagoya University, Hong Kong Central University, Hong Kong University, and the National University of Singapore.
In Oceania, SKKU has formed closed connections with Australian universities that account for 75% of the nation’s research and development expenditure including Sydney University, Melbourne University, University of New South Wales, and the University of Western Australia.
