SKKU's School of Pharmacy ranked in at 47th in new rankings released on March 25. The QS World University Rankings by Subject 2014 were released by the university evaluation institute Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) based in the United Kingdom.
Ever since kicking off in 1953, SKKU's School of Pharmacy has been the leader of the new and creative world of pharmacy through converging multidisciplinary fields inside and outside of Korea. The Science Citation Index (SCI) for the past five years has cumulated at 616 total or 5.9 per professor which is a better performance than the number of SCI papers of the University of California San Francisco's (559 total and 2.6 per professor). These results prove that SKKU's School of Pharmacy performs world class research.
SKKU ranked in the top 50 on the rankings by subject for Economics & Econometrics, Communication & Media Studies, Material Sciences, Chemistry, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Civil & Structural Engineering and Biological Sciences. Modern Languages, Medicine and Computer Science & Information Systems ranked in the top 100 and Psychology, Statistics & Operational Research and Mathematics ranked in the top 150 on the world rankings.
