Seoul Campus (Humanities and Social Sciences Campus)
The International House (I-House) at the Seoul Campus provides convenient facilities to international professors and exchange students.
It can accommodate up to 110 professors and students in family rooms, double rooms and single rooms. The primary language in the I-House is English. Due to the capacity limitation of the I-House, international students who generally seek a degree are not able to use this accommodation facility. Therefore, international students may have their residence in off-campus housing such as private boarding houses, a home stay, etc.

Information on our International House (I-HOUSE)
Sungkyunkwan University's International House was built in 2004, to accommodate our increasing international students and professors.
I-House consists of 2 floors underground and 6 above ground levels. There is a parking lot on the lower basement floor, seminar room and HI-club room on the upper basement floor, 47 students' rooms on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors, 13 professors' single rooms on the 5th floor and 5 professors' family rooms on the sixth floor. We can accommodate up to 110 professors and students, and we equip residents with all the basic facilities necessary for daily living.
Rooms
I-House has a central heating and an air condition system in each room. Each of the student rooms are shared by two people of the same gender. Unfortunately we cannot provide single rooms, due to high demand. For professors, there are two kinds of rooms, single or family.
Each student's room has a desk, lamp, wardrobe, curtain, hanger, and bathroom. The professor's rooms have a TV, refrigerator and kitchen facilities. We provide toiletries, a blanket and bed sheet for your arrival. You will be responsible for washing your own bedclothes.
Meals
There is no meal plan in the dorm, but there are lots of eating options. You may wish to cook by yourself in the kitchen, have a meal in college cafeteria or eat out around school. Usually, food in the cafeteria costs from 2~4 Euros(3~5USD) and in a restaurant from 3~5 Euros(4~6USD). As well as in the main shared kitchen, there are also public refrigerators on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors and water purifiers on all floors.
Rental payment
You should pay the housing fee at the Woori Bank next to the main gate of the school within a week of the issue date on the bill.
You should inform the housing manager, if there is any possibility of you not being able to meet this deadline. Use of the Internet, water, electricity, and English magazines are included in your housing payment at no extra cost. We cannot give discounts if you are away for short temporary periods for travel or vacation, but unlike other dorms in Korea the Sungkyunkwan I-House charges by the month. When students need to transfer to other residents, or leave early we may consider refunds.
