- How can I buy a transportation card? What is the advantage of the card?

You can buy a transportation card in the convenience store nearby. It costs 2~6 Euros. You can charge the card in the convenience store or the subway station. The advantage of a transportation card is that you can transfer to the bus from the subway or to the subway from the bus for free. Using the card is also cheaper than using cash.
- How and Where to Pay for the Housing Fee (for 2011 Spring Semester)?
- All exchange students in both I-House and Koart must pay the housing fee in a lump sum at Woori Bank which is located next to the campus. Payment is due by the date set by the International Office (March 2nd, 2011). A 50,000 KRW late fee will be assessed beginning Thursday of the 1st week of March for any unpaid balance (For those who move-in after class begins should pay their housing fee in 3 days). You will get the invoice in your mail box
*Note: Since only cash is acceptable, change your currency to Korean Won before you pay.
- How can I get to the Woori Bank?
- Facing the main gate of SKKU, turn to the right and walk about 50m.
You can find Woori Bank on your left side on the way.
When you get inside the bank, take out the number ticket from the machine and
wait until your number comes up on the screen.
Pay the housing fee with the invoice paper and don¡¯t forget to get a receipt as a proof of payment.
- How can I buy a mobile phone?

Often foreigners buy a second hand mobile phone. They are available at most cell phone stores. These are usually prepaid phones that you can charge with credit using a special card.
- Why should I pay a deposit for the key?

Many students have lost their room keys and mistakenly took the keys back to their country. We would like students to take more care of their keys. You can get the deposit back when you leave the dorm and hand in the key.
- What time can I check in to the dorm?
- You may check in from 6am to 9pm. Outside those hours you will need to get permission from the manager.
- Is there something I should do, when I check in to the dorm?
- When you check in, you should pay \10,000 (around 7Euro) as a deposit for the key, and then you have to fill out the resident form.
- If I would like to change my bedclothes, what can I do?

When you check in the dorm for the first time, we provide you with clean bedclothes. After that we do not clean them, but you can wash them yourself in the washing room.
- If my family visit me, can I let them stay in the dorm?

If there are vacant rooms, we can let them stay in the dorm for a few days, but first, you need a permission from the Accommodation Manager.
- Can I let my friends sleep in the dorm?
- No, you cannot. if you are caught doing this, you will be asked to leave the dorm.
- Will you provide me with toiletries?
- We provide toiletries once when you first move in, after that you should buy them independently.
