- Established in September 2005, the Graduate School of China (GSC) at Sungkyunkwan University became the first educational institution which specializes in Chinese studies in South Korea. With the significant support from Samsung, GSC is dedicating itself to the pursuit of excellence in Chinese studies. Our goal is to play a vital role in educating experts who are competent in Chinese economics, politics, society, culture and language.
- China's dramatic economic growth in the past twenty years brought lots of changes in the Pacific region. Their growing importance and influence on our country as well as on other countries are getting more and more attention.
- In order to develop Chinese area experts, GSC has formed a collaborative partnership with Peking University and Fudan University; GSC students complete half of their studies at SKKU and the half at our world renowned partner schools.
