Sungkyunkwan University holds 2023 JOB FAIR offline

- Held on the 4th floor of the Samsung Library at the Natural Science Campus for three days from March 13 (Mon) to 15 (Wed)

In line with the post-pandemic, SKKU will hold an offline JOB FAIR for the first time in three years at the Samsung Library at the Natural Science Campus for three days from March 13 (Mon) to March 15 (Wed).

Our university holds an annual JOB FAIR to provide students with useful information on job employment and recruitment of companies and allows companies for their promotions and to secure excellent talents early. This year, more than 60 companies, including global companies, excellent domestic and foreign companies, public institutions, and promising tech companies, are planning to participate in the fair.

Particularly, JOB FAIR, which has been held in the form of a no-contact online metaverse due to COVID-19, will now be operated in the face-to-face offline form. A representative from the Office of Career Development said, "We expect many students to immerse themselves in the energetic atmosphere and be able to participate as we can provide on-site meetings with excellent companies."

It will also operate in an online metaverse job fair at the same time, this serves as a separate platform for students who might have difficulties visiting in person. The online metaverse job fair will be held for two days on March 10 (Fri) and March 17 (Fri), and more than 30 outstanding companies will participate to interact with students in the metaverse space.

In addition, students can check the counseling booth (booth locational information) of their interest in advance through the online recruitment counseling platform app called CareerTalk, and customized recruitment counseling will be conducted by the company booth, allowing them to receive their desired counseling according to their academic or major.

This JOB FAIR will be held in collaboration with five universities: Sungkyunkwan University, as the center, Korea University, Sogang University, Yonsei University, and Hanyang University.

Meanwhile, SKKU, not only strengthens student employment competitiveness through JOB FAIR, but also provides various career or employment services to students. Various job-oriented programs reflecting the latest trends in recruitment, AI competency-strengthening programs reflecting trends in the non-contact recruitment environment, and job competency-strengthening programs tailored to student demands will also be provided. With such efforts, our university achieved the top rank in general universities for seven consecutive years (a success rate of 78.5% based on the university notifications in 2022).
