Kwon Boram (English Language and Literature, Class of 2007) appointed as a full-time faculty in the US

Our alumna Kwon Boram (Class of 2007) has been appointed as a full-time faculty member at the University of South Florida in the Department of English. After graduating from the undergraduate program in English Language and Literature, Kwon Boram pursued her graduate studies and obtained a master's degree in August 2014 (Advisor: Prof. Hanjung Lee). In August 2021, she earned her Ph.D. in Linguistics/Second Language Acquisition from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the United States, with a dissertation focusing on phonology.
Kwon Boram previously worked as a Postdoctoral Teaching Associate at Northeastern University in Boston, USA, and she is currently employed as a Teaching Associate in the Korean Language Program at Cornell University. Starting from the upcoming fall semester, she will begin her position as an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the Department of English at the University of South Florida.
