Confucianism Humanity Education Center Successfully Concludes ‘Sungkyun Leader Camp’
The Confucianism Humanity Education Center (Director: Prof. Lee Cheon-seung) successfully wrapped up the ‘Sungkyun Leader Camp’ on Wednesday, September 25.
The Sungkyun Leader Camp is a program designed to cultivate leadership qualities based on the university's founding philosophy, Su-gi-chi-in (self-cultivation and governance of others). Through this program, students reflected on the studies and philosophies of historical figures and sought to develop as leaders.
Participants visited the Han Seo Namgung Eok Memorial Hall and Hongcheon Hyanggyo, where they experienced the path of leadership firsthand. They also explored various aspects of leadership through the ‘Leaders Insight Program,’ which included lectures on immersive leadership, smartphone addiction prevention, self-leadership, and playful leadership.
One student who participated in the camp shared, "It was a valuable experience for developing leadership qualities. I will continue to strive to become a more mature leader, building on what I learned during this camp."
The Confucianism Humanity Education Center plans to continue supporting students through the Sungkyun Leader Camp, helping them cultivate self-reflection, social responsibility, and ethical global leadership for sustainable development.
