The BK21 Global FinTech Talent Development Education and Research Group (Director: Professor Byung Hwa Lim) and the Center for AI Finance (Director: Professor Kyojik Song) at SKKU will jointly host an International Conference with the University of South Florida (USF) on June 9–10 at the Live Virtual Studio (LVS) on campus.

SKKU and the University of South Florida (USF) signed an Academic Transfer Agreement (ATA) in 2025. On January 13–14, 2026, the two universities held their first Joint Research Conference in the United States, with faculty members from both institutions participating. In June 2026, this initiative was expanded into an International Conference in conjunction with the opening ceremony of the Center for AI Finance (SKKU).

During the two-day conference, 11 research papers will be presented across five sessions. In addition to five professors invited from USF, four SKKU faculty members will participate as presenters and session chairs. This event is expected to further enhance SKKU’s standing as a global research-oriented university and serve as an important catalyst for promoting international collaborative research.
