SKKU Samsung Library attracted people's attention by recently holding the first “living library” event.
A “living library” is a library where it is possible to borrow not only books but actual human beings. The “human books” requested by a user can be rented by way of “reading (communicating)” with said rented person for specific times and in designated places and hence the users experience and knowledge can be enlarged.
Various people volunteered for this “Human Book”, such as a SKKU President Jun Young Kim, a professor who published books in the news, a fire-fighter, a patent lawyer, a reporter, an explorer, and a company CEO. They told the 3-student teams about their life stories and shared their experiences. It was a unique and eye-opening experience for all.
