SKKU School of Medicine is ranked 41st in the world and No.1 in Korea in the field of Clinical, Pre-Clinical & Health 2019 by ’THE Rankings by Subject’.
‘THE World University Rankings’ is being conducted by Times Higher Education, a global university evaluation institution in the UK, and is recognized for its global authority and influence.
They evaluate competitiveness index of each field: education, research, research citation, and internationalization, and announce top 500 rankings.
SKKU School of Medicine established a reputation due to its dedication and stronger impact of research papers published throughout the year. This is the first time to be ranked No.1 in Korea. Among the top 50 world universities, 8 Asian universities were placed. National University of Singapore ranked highest in 26th place, followed by the University of Hong Kong (29th), and the University of Tokyo (34th).
“It was remarkable to finally be ranked in the top 50 medical schools in the world, which has been our long-term goal aimed at 2020. We will make constant endeavors to provide motivation for high-quality research and student-oriented education,” said Dean Yoon Ho CHOE.
