University College (Dean Hongjoon YOO) held a Freshman Orientation on February 13 ~ 15 at both campuses to inform new students about the academic affairs.
In this event over 2,000 freshmen and parents participated to have a community building time with their LC (Learning Community).
Sungkyun Mentor Jonghee JEON said, “We welcome all freshmen who have decided to join this innovative university which puts ‘student success’ as prime value. I hope that the students enjoy a fantastic year along with FG (Freshman Guide) mentors and fellow LC students.”
Senior student Chanhee LEE (Global Management 15’) advised, “Students need to spend time constructing a future plan prior to their first year.”
In the orientation held at the Natural Sciences Campus, Vice-President Sungjin SONG gave an welcoming address wishing students success.
Kingo Cheer Leader Jungmin LEE (English Literature 17’) said, “It was very rewarding to see freshmen sing the school song along with other students despite the awkwardness.”
University College is trying to help out students be informed of academic affairs by posting e-book and video clips on the website.
The entrance ceremony will be held on February 27th 11AM at the Suseonggwan, Natural Sciences Campus.
