President Shin said, “Don't forget the initial intentions of the successful candidates who overcame the difficult process of becoming public officials to contribute to the development of the nation and society and will also enhance the university’s position.”  He added, “SKKU will also support the production of more senior officials.”

Professor Sang Hoon BAE, director of the Career Development Center told the students, “The successful candidates who have achieved student success through entering national ministries should be dedicated to people in the future and become public officials who realize the motto of SKKU.”

Hyeon Chul HAN took the podium on behalf of the successful candidates and expressed his gratitude in the valedictory speech by saying, “Thanks to SKKU’s generous support, I was able to overcome the difficulties and pass the exam.”  He also expressed his ambition, “To return the favor by serving society as a good public official.”

The Career Development Center and Yanghyeongwan are carrying out various programs to support students to become public officials.  The programs such as online briefing sessions for open competitive examinations for grade 5 and national bar exam classes are currently going through a difficult situation due to COVID-19.
