SKKU Professors, Dong-In Kim, Keunchil Park, Nam-Gyu Park, Myung-Ju Ahn, Young-Hee Lee, Selected as the “World’s Top 1% Highly Cited Researchers”
On the annual list of Highly Cited Researchers, 46 researchers from Korean research institutes were recognized.
Clarivate Analytics, a research and information data analysis company, released the list of the top 1% researchers (HCR) on November 18 (Wed). HCR is an annual list released by the Clarivate Analytics since 2014. Based on the analysis information of the database ‘Web of Science’ which is the Citation Index, the researchers are selected. Every year, researchers are selected in 22 fields, including one “cross field” that is confirmed to have given high influence to researchers in 21 research fields and other fields.
In Korea, a total of 46 people were selected, and the number went up by one compared to last year. Among them, 35 were selected as HCR again this year, following last year. Also, 4 researchers were selected in more than two research fields, the actual number of researchers are 41, and 39 of them are Koreans. A total of 5 researchers were from Sungkyunkwan University and the list of them are below.
