Jina Kim, a M.A. student & researcher of the Department of Interaction Science (supervisor professor Eun-Il Park), was selected as one of the 15 Korean representatives of 2021 Global Young Scientists Summit (GYSS).

The 9^th Singapore 2021 GYSS will be held from January 12 to 15, 2021 online. The Singapore GYSS is an event where the Singapore Research Foundation invites promosing young scientists from around the world to provide lectures, discussion opportunities, and academic exchange opportunities among prominent scientists, including Nobel Prize winners.

Researcher Jina Kim mainly conducted research to apply artificial intelligence and deep learning techniques to real social problems and recently published seven SSCI-grade papers, including the July issue of Scientific Reports. Earlier this year, she was selected for the 2020 Global Human Resources Training Program (CMU AI curriculum outbound student) organized by the Institute for Information & Communications Technology Planning & Evaluation (IITP), Ministry of Science and ICT. With the selection, she will participate in the event, which will be held as online webinar.

The online webinar will include 18 lectures by the Nobel Prize winners, the Turing Prize winner and the Millennium Technology Award winner, as well as 5 panel sessions and networking sessions.
