SAIHST Professor Danbee Kang, won the Minister’s award from the Ministry of Health and Welfare
SAIHST Professor Danbee Kang won the Minister’s award from the Ministry of Health and Welfare in the Emerging Research section at the ‘2021 Health Industry Performance Seminar” held by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea Health Industry Development Institute(KHIDI) on November 23 (Tue), 2021.
Professor Kang published more than 100 excellent papers using various practical data (health care big data, hospital data, patient registry data, etc.) to create evidence for chronic disease management and prevention. She was recognized for her contribution to the development of patient self-evaluation result tools and research using them to create patient-oriented evidence.
Professor Kang said, “I was able to achieve great results because she was working with various excellent professors at the Samsung Advanced Institute for Health Sciences and Technology and Samsung Medical Center. I will continue to make more efforts to contribute to the development of the health care industry through continuous clinical epidemiological research with Professor Juhee Cho, the head of the Department of Clinical Research and Design Evaluation.”
