College of Social Sciences holds the 7th Suseon Forum
On May 12th, the College of Social Sciences held the 7th Suseon forum at the Suseon building Globalized Advanced Lecture room.
Social Science professors, researchers,graduate students, and other new research personnel, including Bihwan Kim(Dean, College of Social Sciences), gathered offline to represent and discuss revitalizing the academic community of the social science college.
During the forum, Taesuh Cha (Professor,Political Science, and Diplomacy) represented a theme, “Contending American visions of North Korea: The mission civilisatrice vs. realpolitik,” which provided significant insight into Korea’s main pending issue, the relationship with North America, making the forum exciting and instructive event.
Based on the “Community and Social Sciences” theme, the College of Social Sciences will continue to hold monthly Suseon forums until the first half of this year to improve exchange and communication among college members and establish the foundation for creating a sustainable academic community and discovering common research topics.
