SKKU, Selected for 2022 K-MOOC+ Course Development Project

SKKU (President Dong Ryeol Shin) announced that the school was selected as a K-MOOC+ class among the Korean online open lectures (K-MOOC) hosted by the National Institute for Lifelong Education of the Ministry of Education in 2022. The total cost of the project is 200 million won over 3 years, and SKKU Library (Director Hyung Kee Choi) will lead the management.

K-MOOC is a project that provides excellent online lectures from higher education institutions to meet the growing demand for lifelong education in higher education and promote university teaching-learning innovation. It is divided into general lectures and advanced lectures, and SKKU is the only one selected for advanced lectures.

Based on this, SKKU Library is planning to develop a course called ‘Thesis Writing Guide’, which contains basic to advanced content necessary for writing a thesis in college life. SKKU Library, which has conducted online thesis writing education since before COVID-19, will develop lectures that cover natural sciences, humanities, and social sciences, as well as convergence majors, based on their experiences and data, and differentiate the lecture levels from high school students to above graduate students.

The first project period is from July to December 2022, and it provides an opportunity for anyone interested to participate, as it is conducted online and offline in real-time. In the second and third project periods, 2023 and 2024, the contents of the lectures will be continuously updated to deliver the latest information and the courses will be shared with related institutions to support excellent thesis writing.
