About 100 SKKU Students Walk 170km of Jeju Island Road Trip 

for the 2022 Kingo March



SKKU (President Dong Ryeol Shin) announced that the ‘2022 Kingo March at Jeju Island’ will be held in Jeju Island from June 28th to July 5th for seven nights and 8 days. This event where 100 students from our university participate is composed of a course that starts from Aewol on 28th, passing through Seogwipo, Seongsan, and finishes at Hamdeok with a total of 170km trip for 7 nights and 8 days.


President Shin said, “This long march event has been recently resumed after three years of cancellation due to COVID 19, hoping it will provide opportunities that develop great spirits and make memories for students who have been experiencing campus life through untact classes”, emphasizing the purpose of the event.


The Overall Student Council President Pilgyu Jang from Humanities & Social Sciences Campus who oversaw the event said, “I hope that this event can become a period of recharge and solution to stress due to employments and grades accumulated for a semester, along with physical training by walking through the beautiful sceneries of our country and making friends outside the campus.”

Other than the long march, SKKU Kingo March participants will return to Seoul on the upcoming 5th of July after various programs of harmony & exchange and exchange with Jeju alumni prepared by the Overall Student Council.
