2022 New Industry Startup TECH-EXPO Held under Success

- Ministry of SMEs and Startups-SKKU Research & Business Foundation held biohealth 

  (medical device/digital healthcare) technology commercialization performance sharing event


SKKU Research & Business Foundation participated in the ‘New Industry Startup TECH-EXPO’ hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, which was held at COEX for 3 days from Nov. 16 (Wed) to Nov. 18 (Fri). New Industry Startup TECH-EXPO is a place where more than 300 excellent startups in major new industries such as system semiconductors, bio/health, and future cars gather to spread the results of startups in new industries through performance sharing, startups/venture-investor connection, technology exhibitions and promotion.


SKKU Research & Business Foundation is the organizer of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ innovation package and mentoring platform operation support project (Biohealth-Medical Devices/Digital Healthcare) and has been supporting 83 promising start-up companies through SKKU Center for win-win cooperation of Start-up companies in BT (Director Prof. Dong June Chung) since 2020. SKKU Center for win-win cooperation of Start-up companies in BT participated in the New Industry Startup TECH-EXPO and held a ‘Medical Device Exhibition and Experience Exhibition’ for 3 days. In this exhibition, 10 companies (EzDiatech, SMDsolution, PLASMAPP, ATsens, BrainU, Lululab, AccuGene, Olive Healthcare, PixelRo, Todo Works) among the companies supported and fostered by SKKU participated, and PLASMAPP was awarded the Minister of SMEs and Startups Award.


The Ministry of SMEs and Startups has been carrying out the ‘Innovation Field Startup Package’ project since 2020 to intensively foster start-ups and venture companies with innovative technologies in the new industry, and the center actively supports the growth and technology commercialization of start-ups in the medical device/digital healthcare.
