On February 25th, Peking University and SKKU held a symposium for a joint-research and personal exchange in the area of medicine and pharmacy. This year’s symposium was held under the topic: “future therapeutics”. Professors from SKKU’s College of Medicine made a presentation on their research topics and 8 professors from Peking University Health Science Center presented as well.
Prof. Lihe ZHANG (member of Chinese Science Academy) and Prof. Demin ZHOU (Dean, PKU College of Pharmacy) joined the symposium to express their interest in having joint research with SKKU. Two universities have agreed to have mutual cooperation for the development of study in medicine and pharmacy. SKKU will invite PKU professors to have the 2ndSKKU-PKU Biomedical Symposium and also sign a MoU for further cooperation.
Recently, SKKU was ranked 41st place in the Times Higher Education World Rankings (in the area of Public Health). SKKU is planning on expanding its ties with world’s most prestigious universities such as PKU to strengthen its competiveness in the field.
