SKKU and Seoul Business Agency (hereafter SBA) signed an agreement on June 28th to raise convergent talents suitable for the fourth industrial era.
Culture and Art Media Convergence Center and SBA will work together to develop convergent talents who can create, manage and interpret Korean cultural contents on top of smart media platform by operating culture and technology convergent major.
Culture and Art Media Convergence Center was established in 2019 with the objective of training professionals who can create and apply convergent contents with background in the humanities. Director Seunghwan SONG, who took charge of the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics became the first director of the center.
The programs include creation of contents using IT technologies such as AR/VR, planning “Korean Wave” contents, brand contents business, contents start-up, etc.
SBA’s creative force team members will join this program and cooperate in lectures, field projects and mentoring. The center will also be able to use the media studio owned by SBA to perform contents planning, filming and editing.
