The term of office is 2 years. Ganjae(艮齋) Academy was founded in 1989 with the aim of systematically studying the morality and learning of Ganjae(艮齋) JEON Woo(田愚), the greatest Confucian scholar in the late Han Dynasty, and contributing to the systematization, modernization, popularization, and the development of Korean studies. With the active support of the Jeonbuk Provincial Government and Jeonju City Hall, the Ganjae Academy holds an international academic conference every year to reveal the modern status of Ganjae studies and publish ‘Research on Ganjae Studies’every year. Prof. Jo, who is currently the president of the Association of Fengshui Korea, has served as president of various academic societies, including The Korea Society of Eastern Art Studies, Journal & Article Management System, and Korean Taoism.
