Advanced Institute of Nano Technology Professor Kang Bo Seok receives the “Young Scientist Award” from the Polymer Society of Korea

Advanced Institute of Nano Technology Professor Kang Bo Seok received the ‘Young Scientist Award’ in the Polymer Society of Korea Spring meeting at Daejeon Convention Center (April 4th- 6th).

Professor Kang is currently investigating the development of high-performance, elastic electronic elements, and thermoelement by controlling the property and structure of conjugate molecules. He is getting credit for publishing various fundamental technology of semi-conductor materials and elements in world-famous journals. Representative research results are ▲Investigation of Polymer Semiconductor Structure-Performance Relationship, ▲Development of Surface-Induced Self-Assembly Technology, ▲Development of Organic Semiconductor Printing Method, ▲Production of Van der Waals Electrodes for Organic Transistors.

The Polymer Society of Korea is one of the largest academic societies with more than 5,000 members, contributing to promoting and developing polymer-related technology and study such as chemistry, physics, biology, and engineering. The Polymer Society of Korea Young Scientist is awarded to selected excellent young (less than seven years after receiving their Ph.D.) scientists who made outstanding contributions to polymer engineering and science development.
