Start-up Business Support Center Successfully Completed a Start-up Business Competition, ‘KINGO-GA AIBI’


The KINGO-GA start-up business competition, that was held to discover excellent ideas from promising start-up founder in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI), big data, and IoT (Internet of Things), successfully ended.

This event was organized by Sungkyunkwan University and GA Korea and was sponsored by KEB Hana Bank, Bulim Bank, and etc. Among 96 teams who applied, a total of 12 teams were selected and received awards.

Two teams who received the first prizes (SKKU President’s Award and GA Korea President’s Award) each received ten million won, and two teams who received the second prizes (Yongin Mayor’s Award and Hana Bank Chief’s Award) each received five million won.

These days, many events are postponed and cancelled, however, this competition, which marks its second anniversary this year, decided to hold this event as usual to motivate prospective start-up founders and start-up founders.

The award winners can get the maximum additional points when they apply for SKKU’s Graduate School of Global Entrepreneurship. Also, for those winners who received the first and second prizes will get the IR opportunities to attract investment.
