Gira Yi, a Professor of Chemical Engineering/Polymer Science & Engineering, Selected as a Winner of Science and Technology Research Fund Held by Korea Toray Science Foundation



Korea Toray Science Foundation selected 4 rising researchers, who challenge to conduct creative project, as winners of the Science and Technology Research Fund.


Gira Yi, a professor of chemical engineering at SKKU and Eunjin Jo, a professor of chemistry at Chung-ang University, Shinhyun Kim, a professor of chemical and biomolecular engineering at KAIST, and Joonhak Oh, a professor of chemical and biological engineering at Seoul National University won the Science and Technology Research Fund.

 

Korea Toray Science Foundation believes that researches in various fields, including organic synthesis, nanoparticles self-assembly, ductile materials, and electronic materials, led by rising researchers have high potential and plans to provide 50 million KRW every year for three years. 


Korea Toray Science Foundation announced the winners on September 9(Mon) and they plan to hold the ceremony with very minimum number of people to prevent corona infection on October 22(Thur).
