National Assembly Alumni President’s Scholarship Presentation Ceremony for the 2022 Fall Semester

On October 11, the National Assembly Alumni Association Scholarship Award Ceremony for the 2022 Fall semester was held at the National Assembly Alumni Association Lecture Room (#2B212) in the Law Building.


The National Assembly Alumni Association Scholarship awarded on this day is a scholarship fund that incumbent alumni in the National Assembly have accumulated on a monthly basis to encourage their juniors since 2002, and it is planned to be given to excellent law school students and major national exam prep students starting this semester.


In the 2022 Fall semester, Seonghyeon Choi (Law School 14th cohort), Sangjun Seo (Administrative Exam Class), Wooyoung Yang (CPA Class), Hongjun Yun (Technical Exam Class), Chanwan Yu (Diplomatic Candidate), and Wookhyun Jo (Law School Preparation Class) were honored with the National Assembly Alumni Association Scholarship.

The ceremony was attended by Taeyeol Heo (Department of Law, former Blue House Chief of Staff) and National Assemblyman Youngseok Yoon (Department of Political Science and Diplomacy), who created the National Assembly Alumni Association Scholarship, and presented scholarship certificates to the students. From SKKU, President Dong Ryeol Shin, Il Hwan Kim (Dean of the Law School), Seong Woo Ji (Vice President of External Affairs), Huy Jae Chon (Head Professor), Hwanghee Lee (Department Chair) attended and thanked the National Assembly Alumni Association and congratulated and encouraged the students.


As the representative of the scholarship student, Seonghyeon Choi said, “I will become a lawyer who knows how to give without conditions”, and Sangjun Seo expressed his determination by saying, “I will work hard in my studies to become a future officer”, expressing gratitude to the seniors who were willing to share for juniors.

Mr. Heo encouraged students to continue their studies with pride in the school as it is a scholarship containing the will of their seniors, and Mr. Yoon encouraged them to become talented people who contribute to SKKU. President Shin also congratulated them, saying, “I hope the students will be qualified in school and go to society and achieve your vision well.”

In addition, President Shin and Dean Kim delivered a plaque of appreciation and a bouquet of congratulations to Mr. Heo with special gratitude from members of SKKU.
