Mr. Won Kab Kim (Vice President of Hyundai Corporation Holdings) visited the presidential office of SKKU on July 12 (Tue) and delivered the accumulated amount of KRW 300 million for the ‘Second Business Building Fund.’

The fund delivery ceremony was attended by Dong Ryeol Shin (SKKU President), Youngsu Chu (Permanent Director of Board), Joonmo Cho (Executive Vice President of Humanities and Social Sciences Campus), Sun-Kyu Park (Executive Vice President of Natural Sciences Campus), Seong Woo Ji (Vice President of External Affairs). Even Dongpil Kim (President of SKKU Business School Alumni Association/President of Nexpharm Korea), Ik-Rae Kim (President of Sunmyung), Hyunkoo Lee (President of La Casa Hotel), Sanghoon Shin (President of Shinhan Financial Group), Youngju Jeon (President of Hashsnap), and Jeungsang Lee (Secretary General of SKKU Business School Alumni Association) attended and made the ceremony more special.

In a welcoming speech, President Shin said, “We deeply appreciate Mr. Kim for donating a large amount of KRW 300 million to the construction fund for 13 years since 2009 for SKKU and Business Building. In order to meet his love for SKKU, we will do our best for the development of the school by building the 2nd Business Building in line with the wishes of the Business School Alumni.”

Mr. Kim said in a greeting, “I participated in the donation as part of the 50th anniversary campaign of Ik-Rae Kim, president of Business School Alumni Association, in 2009, and SKKU’s status has increased a lot due to the efforts of the school and foundation for 13 years. Although it has been 44 years since I joined the company, I will do my best to achieve my donation goal as long as I continue my work life, and I will try harder to help the Business School in a separate way in addition to scholarships.”
