Academic Affairs Division

Academic Affairs Team

The Academic Affairs Team is responsible for the planning and adjustment of SKKU’s undergraduate/graduate education operation plans and work related to university affairs and registry.

Major Responsibilities and Functions

  • Management of division director’s and general college deans’ official seals
  • Establishment and adjustment of basic plans for academic affairs
  • Establishment and closing of majors, departments and graduate programs, and adjustments in quota
  • Improvements in the university system
  • Organization, reorganization and adjustments for educational programs
  • Management and implementation of Lifelong Education Promotion policies
  • Establishment and adjustments of protocols and management of university affairs, registry and courses
  • Management of enrollment quota and academic statistics
  • Management of undergraduate/graduate student’ registry, academic background inquiries and issuance of certificates
  • Matters related to conferment and revocation of degrees
  • Management of master’s thesis/doctoral dissertation submission and degree -qualifying examinations
  • Matters related to the policies on instructors
  • Operation of the academic affairs committee, graduate program committee and faculty committee Management of lectures and educational spaces

Office of Academic Services

Office of Academic Services provides an integrated service regarding academic records, graduation, courses, and grades for undergraduate/general graduate school students, and runs and manages the One-Stop Academic Service Center.

Major Responsibilities and Functions

  • Basic planning for academic management
  • Operate and develop academic system
  • Academic system regulation and guidelines establishment/amendment
  • Integration service for academic records, graduation, and 3-pum
  • Integration service for courses, grades, and course registration
  • Assign and manage major courses’ lecturers
  • Run One-Stop Academic Service Center
  • Search academic record, issue certificate/confirmation documents
  • Degree conferment and Graduation ceremony
  • Degree-qualifying examinations
  • Graduation evaluation and thesis/dissertation submission
  • Assign and rent educational spaces
  • Operate seasonal/intensive courses
  • Domestic/international credit exchange
  • Plan and run BSM joint examination

Faculty Human Resources Team

The Faculty Human Resources Team is responsible for the establishment and implementation of faculty supply plans, management of full-time faculty reappointment, promotion, tenure-track, performance evaluation and sabbatical leaves and appointment of part-time faculty members.
