Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) invites applicants for the position of international officer.

Under the general direction of the director of the International Office, 

the international officer working on the strategic planning, development/maintenance of international networks and the implementation of international programs.

1. Conditions of Contract: (Employment term) 1 year contract (renewable)

2. Working Conditions

 A. Department: Office of International Relations (Jongno-gu, Seoul)

 B. Office Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00~17:30

 C. Start-work date: 2023. 3. 1.

3. Examples of Duties : Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

 A. Develop new partners and seek opportunities for international collaboration

 B. Support customized cooperative projects for each partner university

 C. VIP (University President, Agency Representative) protocol and support visiting groups from overseas institutions

4. Qualifications

 A. Fluent in English (native speakers’ level)

 B. Completion of Bachelor’s Degree

 C. Completion of more than six years including secondary and higher education in English-speaking countries (preferred)

 D. Experience related to international education (preferred)

 E. Valid working visa (visa sponsorship may be offered by the university, upon further agreement with the applicant upon passing the final screening process)

 C. Submission Documents

  ① current resume in English

  ② Copy of diplomas and set of official transcripts

  ③ A copy of the official language test score (if any)

  ④ A copy of the work experience certificate (if any)

  ⑤ Copy of passport with current visa stamp or foreigner ID card (if any)

6. Application Process

 A. Evaluation process: Document evaluation, Job competency (practical ability) evaluation, Interview (including personality test), Recruitment health examination

 B. Evaluation schedule: Separate guidance for each successful applicant

7. Others

 A. Recruitment will be canceled if the written information and submitted documents are false

 B. Recruitment documents are not returned according to the Recruitment Procedure Act by electronic submission (e-mail) of recruitment documents, and are destroyed after the  procedure is completed
