Global classes invited by professors from overseas prestigious universities have been held since this year to provide high-quality classes created by teachers from overseas prestigious universities to students to improve the level of education and establish a global learning platform.
1. Lecturer: Dr. Hulya Eraslan
- Ralph O’Connor Professor of Economics at Rice University
- Prior to joining to Rice, she worked at Johns Hopkins University (Econ Department) and University of Pennsylvania (Wharton School). Her research program focuses on bargaining and voting with applications to political economy and corporate finance, both theoretically and empirically.
- She has published around 25 academic papers at the top economic journals including American Economic Review, Econometrica, and Review of Economic Studies; and is currently working as an Associate Editor of many renowned journals such as International Economic Review, Review of Economic Design, Journal of Public Economic Theory, and Social Choice and Welfare. She was elected Fellow of the Society for the Advancement fo Economic Theory.
