외국인 유학생의 건강권을 보장하기위하여 보건복지부는 국민건강보험을 2021년 3월 1일부터 당연가입을 진행합니다. 이에 대한 자세한 사항을 붙임과 같이 Q&A로 게시하오니 국민건강보험 가입에 참고하시기 바랍니다.

<국민건강보험 당연가입 기안내 자료> 

한국에 체류하는 모든 외국인 유학생은 대한민국 법령에 따라 2021년 3월 1일 이후 국민건강보험에 가입하여야합니다. 대한민국 정부는 외국인유학생의 예기치 못한 사고와 고액의 치료비 부담으로부터 보호하기 위하여 건강보험가입을 의무화하고 있습니다.

그동안 등록금 고지서에 부과되었던 성균관대학교 단체가입 유학생보험료(KB손해보험)는 법령에 따라 2021학년 1학기부터 등록금 고지서에 부과하지 않습니다. 

국민건강보험 개요

1. 보험가입시기: 2021.3.1.

- 유학비자(D-2) 유학생: 최초입국 시 외국인등록일, 재입국 시 재입국일

- 재외국민• 재외동포 비자(F-4) 유학생: 입국 후 학교입학일

* 국민건강보험공단에 신청, 재학증명서 등 제출 필요(F-4 소지 대학원생은 보험료 경감 대상 아님)

2. 보험료: 월 보험료 39,540원(2021년 기준)

* 한시적 보험료 경감: (2021년 70%, 2022년 60%, 2023년 50% 경감 예정)
*소득금액 연360만원 초과인 경우 경감 대상 제외

3. 보험료 납부방법: 외국인등록 시 주소로 발부된 고지서 납부(3/10 고지 예정, 3/25까지 납부)

 National Health Insurance Information

All international students residing in Korea must register to National Health Insurance after March 1, 2021 in accordance with Korean law. The Korean government is obligated to register health insurance to protect foreign students from unexpected accidents and expensive medical expenses.

  

In accordance with the law, the Sungkyunkwan University Group Enrollment International Student Insurance (KB Insurance), which has been levied on the tuition bill, will not be levied on the tuition bill from the spring semester of 2021.

  

National Health Insurance Overview

1. Insurance registration period: 2021.3.1.

-Study Abroad (D-2 VISA): The date of alien registration when entering the country for the first time, the date of re-entry when entering the country

-Overseas Koreans and Overseas Koreans (F-4 VISA) International Students: Date of admission to school after arrival

* Applying to the National Health Insurance Corporation and submitting a certificate of enrollment of the university required (graduate students holding F-4 VISA are not eligible for reduction of insurance premiums)

2. Insurance fee: Monthly insurance fee is 39,540 won (based on 2021)

* Temporary reduction in fee: (70% in 2021, 60% in 2022, 50% in 2023)
* Reduction only applies to the household yearly income of KRW 3.6 million or below.

3. How to pay insurance : Pay the bill issued to the address when registering alien (to be sent bill from March 10th. pay by March 25th)

*Detailed insurance benefits and information will be posted on the bill to be issued later and on the National Health Insurance Service website.
