On May 12th, the College of Confucian Studies and Eastern Philosophy held the "7th Seoul Castle Walk". Despite of bad weather, 67 participants fully enjoyed their time while walking around Seoul's city wall.
Students had a time to walk in Seoul Castle along the course: SKKU -> Namsan Octagonal Pavilion-> Jangchung Gymnasium -> Gwanghuimun Gate -> Dongdaemun Gate.
After the walking tour, all of the participants enjoyed Korean hot pot meals and Makgeoli, a traditional drink.
The Seoul Castle Walk is an event that is coordinated by dividing Seoul's city wall into 4 parts and then walking events around them are held 2 times a year. Participants can not only look at the various historical places, but also enjoy the cultural experience. Moreover, they can communicate with and make friends with their fellow students.
The next event, the "8th Seoul Castle Walk", will be held this fall.
