SUNGKYUNKWAN UNIVERSITY (SKKU), SEOUL, KOREA

SKKU Office of International Student Services recently opened a YouTube channel @SKKU International Students to share stories about our international students. The channel features students' experiences in Korea and on campus. Videos posted on the channel now include:

• Advice on How to Make Local Friends in Korea as a Foreigner
• International Student Life & Cost
• Enjoying Local Korean Food
• K-Pop Challenge: International vs. Korean Students
• Opportunities to Study in Korea

The new channel is special in that not only our students but also alumni take the lead in producing the videos. Jae Yeong Seo (aka Mickey Seo), a graduate of SKKU College of Economics and now a well-known YouTuber with over 40,000 subscribers, is one of the main producers on the channel responsible for introducing our students' thoughts and opinions. Yong Jun Shin, a senior student at the Global Leader Department who started the increasingly popular channel "SKKUDIO", also creates videos to show students' lives.

Other important members of the channel are our students who have shared their journeys coming to Korea and studying at SKKU. All international students are more than welcome to join us and be a part of SKKU's story.
