Academy of East Asian Studies Signs Agreement with Hunan Normal University for Research on North East Asian Region

On March 29th, SKKU Academy of East Asian Studies signed an MOU with Hunan Normal University, China.

The Director of the Academy of East Asian Studies, Kihyung HAN, and Prof. Kyungho KIM, visited Hunan Normal University to continue cooperation in research related to the field of East Asian studies.

SKKU professors also gave lectures entitled "Expression and Power - Historical Characteristic of Colonial Censorship" and "Modern Day Transmission of Knowledge in East Asia - Focus on the Analects" to the students of Hunan Normal University.

Hunan Normal University was founded in 1938 in Changsha, Hunan Province. It has 16 colleges and 43 departments as well as 31 research institutions, and it runs 47 undergraduate programs, 56 graduate programs, and 10 doctorate programs. More than 15,000 students are enrolled in the university.
