Sungkyun Institute of Chinese Studies Co-Hosts Largest International Conference on Social Governance

The largest international conference on social governance in China was held at Sun Yat-sen University during September 21~22. The main topic of the conference was "Social Governance and Public Policy".

This conference was co-hosted by three different institutions in SKKU, Peking University and Sun Yat-sen University. Over 70 experts from China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea and Australia joined the conference to give presentations. The results of the research was published in China and it received a lot of attention from the global audience.

Many highly esteemed scholars in China joined the conference. The director of the Sungkyun Institute gave a lecture on "Smart City and Governance in China" and other Korean scholars also joined the presentation.

The Sungkyun Institute of Chinese Studies has been exchanging with Peking University National Governance Research Institute for more than 10 years and has expanded its global network through this platform.
