SUNGKYUNKWAN UNIVERSITY (SKKU), SEOUL, KOREA
Sungkyun Confucian – East Asian Philosophy Research Institute (hereafter Sungkyun Research Institute; Director Prof. Philip J. Ivanhoe) has been selected for a grant from the American Council of Learned Societies' (ACLS) for its Comparative Perspectives on Chinese Culture and Society program.
The funding was provided by the Chiang Ching-kuo Foundation for International Scholarly Exchange in Taiwan and organized by the ACLS in the United States.
The Director of Sungkyun Research Institute Prof. Ivanhoe applied for the grant with the topic "International Conference on Confucianism, Buddhism, and Kantian Moral Theory". The amount of the grant is $25,000.
The conference will be held on September 6th and 7th at SKKU.
