SUNGKYUNKWAN UNIVERSITY (SKKU), SEOUL, KOREA

THE (Times Higher Education) has announced the World University Rankings 2020. SKKU has dropped 7 places to 89^th place, but remained the top comprehensive private university in Korea. SKKU received slightly lower points in academic environment and research performance in comparison to the previous year.

Seoul National University also dropped to 64^th place and other engineering schools such as KAIST and POSTECH has also continued to drop to 110^th and 146^th, respectively. Korea University rose to 179^th place and Yonsei University took 197^th place.

The title of world's top university went to Oxford University.
