Nature presented Sungkyunkwan-Samsung cooperation as a model case of academic-industrial cooperation in 'Nature Index 2020 South Korea' on May 27, 2020. "South Korea has progressed toward leading-country in innovation by holding systematic reformation in the field of research as well as further investment in human resources." Nature said.
Nature Index ranked in order of the number of counts and shares of the articles of the organizations and countries. Nature has also analyzed the contributions and the portion of the author of the research articles.
Sungkyunkwan University has been evaluated and has achieved remarkable results in academic-industrial cooperation. Samsung has published 159 Nature Index articles with Sungkyunkwan University, ranked the most collaborating academic partner. The number of articles is about 4 times higher than the second most collaborative academic partner, Seoul Nat'l University.
