Quantum Information Research Support Center Opens at SKKU

The Ministry of Science and ICT has enabled SKKU to operate the "Quantum Information Research Support Center" which began operation August 28 (Fri). The center provides a research environment, education programs, and an infrastructure to foster quantum information professionals. SKKU Professor Yeon Wook Jeong was selected as the director.

The center was established as an internal or separate organization. About 10 staff members were placed at the center to support its administration, research and development, and policies. The center will be operated for 3 years starting this year and will be operated for 2 more years after being evaluated.
