On November 3 (Tue), an Accomplishment Conference of Challenge Semester 2020 was held in 600th Anniversary Hall. Participants in the event included President Dong-Ryeol Shin, Vice President of the Humanities and Social Sciences Campus Hong-Jun Yoo, Vice President of the Natural Science Campus Sung-Jin Song, Vice President of Student Affairs Sang-Hoon Bae, Vice President of the Planning and Coordination Division and Information and Communication Division Wan-Sun Shin, and professors and students representing the challenge semester's curriculum/extracurricular activities/internships.
In the accomplishment conference, the participants shared the results and operation of the first challenge semester and explored the direction of development for next year's semester. During the 10 weeks of challenge semester from June 22 (Fri) to August 28 (Fri), 1,922 students participated in regular curricula, 2,375 students in extracurricular programs, and 677 students in internship programs.
In addition, there was an award ceremony for the 2020 Challenge X Live. At the event, the vivid challenges and experiences during the challenge semester and the story of growth and development through it were presented. Through two reviews, the winners of the single grade prize, three excellence prizes, and three encouragement prizes were selected.
The director of Education Development Center said, "This is the first semester, so we needed to listen to students' stories about their experiences and growth."
