국제개발협력 국내 최고 전문가 성균관대 특강

4월 10일 오후 3시부터 구정우 교수님의 사회학 입문 강의에서 차문중 경제부총리 자문관님과 함께 하는 강연이 열립니다. 차문중 박사님은 전 KDI의 국제개발협력센터의 소장을 역임하고 KSP 사업을 총괄했던 국제개발협력 분야, 특히 지식공유사업(KSP, Knowledge Sharing Program) 분야에서 국내 최고의 전문가이십니다. 특강에서는 KSP에 관한 내용을 다룰 계획이며, 특강 이후에는 5시부터 6시까지 61805에서 학생들과 만나 질의응답 시간을 갖는 자유로운 간담회도 개최됩니다.

차문중 자문관님의 이력에 대해서는 다음을 참조해 주세요.

MoonJoong Tcha is currently Senior Advisor to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Strategy and Finance of the Republic of Korea, and also affiliated with Korea Development Institute (KDI) as Senior Fellow.

Before he joined government, he had served as Executive Director, Center for International Development at KDI, in charge of KSP (Knowledge Sharing Program), a pillar of development cooperation of the Korean government.

Dr. Tcha studied Economics at Seoul National University (BA), and at the University of Chicago (PhD) in 1992.

Affiliated with the University of Western Australia as a Faculty member for 12 years, he also served for many international institutions including the University of Chicago, Australia National University, University of New South Wales, Seoul National University and KDI School of Public Policy and Management.  He joined KDI in 2005 as Senior Fellow, and served as Director of Office for Economic Development Cooperation, and Vice President and Director of Department of Industrial and Corporate Affairs.

He worked as a consultant for international organizations such as World Bank Institute, OECD, Africa Development Bank and UNSACAP.  Having served for various teams and committees of the Korean government including Public Sector Appraisal Team, Government Performance Appraisal Team and Public Sector Transparency Appraisal Team, currently he is a member of Green Growth Committee and National Statistics Committee. 

Dr. Tcha published a large number of professional papers, and authored/edited books in the fields including international economics, development economics, public sector economics, development cooperation, service industry, regulation, real estate and culture and sports economics. He has been working as Project Manager for large scale projects for governments, and was awarded National Decoration in 2009 due to his research on the relationship between institutions and economic performance.

He loves various sports including tennis, golf, skiing, bowling, basketball, baseball and soccer.  He also loves playing with his two kids, Kyungchae Estelle and Dongyoung Alwyn, however, is a bit depressed nowadays as they are too busy for their own studying to find time to play with him.
