Office of International Relations Holds Opening Ceremony for International Hall Global Lounge

SKKU Office of International Relations held an opening ceremony for the International Hall Global Lounge on December 18 (Fri).

The Global Lounge, located in International Hall, is the most visited place by international partners and foreign students. It symbolizes and represents SKKU's internationalization and will be used as a place to promote the university as well as conduct admissions and counseling for international students. In addition, it has been transformed into a space where students can freely communicate.

Moreover, there is an information desk for welcoming guests who come to SKKU from abroad and distributing foreign registration cards, and a large screen for promoting the university and its global programs. It also displays brochures for partnership schools' exchange programs and souvenirs from them.

SKKU President Dong Ryeol Shin said, "I hope that COVID-19 ends as soon as possible so that the global lounge will become a place where students from all over the world can freely exchange and communicate."
