Q. Please tell us something about your area of research?
It's better if you learn Korean before you come. You can learn Korean here in Korean Class, however, you can truly have lots of opportunity more than if you don't.

Q. If you compare student life in your own country to student life at SKKU, what's the biggest difference?
The location of SKKU is very good in Seoul; we have a lot of cafes, bars, restaurants near the campus. So, after our classes we can always find something to do with our exchange and Korean friends near the campus.
Hello everyone. I'm Murat from İstanbul, Turkey. And I'm a business administration undergraduate student.

Q. If you compare student life in your own country to student life at SKKU, what's the biggest difference?
The location of SKKU is very good in Seoul; we have a lot of cafes, bars, restaurants near the campus. So, after our classes we can always find something to do with our exchange and Korean friends near the campus. In Istanbul, generally there are fewer places to hang out with friends. So, according to me, this is the main difference about student life between SKKU and my home country.

Q. Why did you decide to become an exchange student at SKKU?
SKKU appealed so much to me, especially after knowing it has a very long history (about more than 600 years old) that started with confucianism.
Hello~ 안녕하세요. My Name is Noorasyiah Haji Badaruddin. My friends call me C-Yah for short. I am from Brunei Darussalam (which is in South East Asia, the smallest country on Borneo Island) and majoring in Sociology.

Q. Why did you decide to become an exchange student at SKKU?
Personally I find South Korea beautiful in so many ways and to actually have an opportunity to study in South Korea is sort of a dream come true, so when I browsed through the universities listed having an MoU agreement with our local University in Brunei, SKKU appealed so much to me, especially after knowing it has a very long history (about more than 600 years old) that started with confucianism. And since I am majoring in Sociology and learning about people's culture interests me so much, SKKU just seemed to be the perfect choice!

Q. What advice would you give other students who are thinking of coming to SKKU for a semester?
To be perfectly honest, to anyone who is thinking of coming to SKKU, please do so. You will definitely enjoy your time here being a student!
The courses taught here are very interesting and SKKU has this 'buddy system' called hi-club which is handled by local students for international students where if you have any questions about anything, they will not hesitate to help you, and can even bring you to places you would love to visit around South Korea. Definitely an experience of a life time, especially for me personally!!

Q. If you compare student life in your own country to student life at SKKU, what's the biggest difference?
The classes in Brazilian university aren't in international lecture, with English as a common language among everyone (Professors, TAs, students) like here it's.
"저는 실비오입니다. 저는 브라질사람입니다. 저는 성균관대학생입니다. 만나서 반갑습니다."
Actually, I'm here in Korea like a visiting student in the civil and environmental engineering department.

Q. If you compare student life in your own country to student life at SKKU, what's the biggest difference?
Unfortunately, In my home university, I wouldn't know such a great number of people from everywhere in the world and following my point of view, It's the biggest difference. The classes in Brazilian university aren't in international lecture, with English as a common language among everyone (Professors, TAs, students) like here it's. Then, to be in contact with a plenty of different types of language and knowing a little more about each country is what makes an exchange experience so exciting.

Q. Why did you decide to become an exchange student at SKKU?
I figured out the College of Information and Communication Engineering from SKKU and the partnership with Samsung. Researching deeply, I was impressed about the high quality of the College and about all the investments done by Samsung.
My name is Rui Martins. I'm Brazilian, 21 years old. In Brazil my major is Information Systems, here in Korea Computer Engineering. Professionally, I had two experiences as an intern working as Software Developer.

Q. Why did you decide to become an exchange student at SKKU?
My first decision was to have an academic experience in Korea due the high education quality. After, I started to research about Korean universities and I figured out the College of Information and Communication Engineering from SKKU and the partnership with Samsung. Researching deeply, I was impressed about the high quality of the College and about all the investments done by Samsung. Then, considering this and considering my major, I took the decision to apply SKKU.

Q. If you compare student life in your own country to student life at SKKU, what's the biggest difference?
Atmosphere, here in SKKU you find a singular atmosphere to conduct your studies. Q. If you compare student life in your own country to student life at SKKU, what's the biggest difference?
The sense of respect with elderly and the superiors really interest me. The hard work living here also is interesting.
My name is Guilherme Nascimento. I'm from Brazil. I'm mechanical engineering student here.

Q. If you compare student life in your own country to student life at SKKU, what's the biggest difference?
The sense of respect with elderly and the superiors really interest me. Cause they have the different way to talk to certain kind of people and all toward respect. The hard work living here also is interesting. Because it amazes me how Koreans go through everything just to achieve their goals and to pursuit their goals. That inspires me.
