Center for Students with Disabilities Hosts 2019 Disabled Student Global Challenge Program

The Center for Students with Disabilities held a discussion session between President Dong Ryeol SHIN and disabled students (including assistant students) on September 16th.

The session was for students to share their opinions and present the plans for the Global Challenge Program. It was the first discussion session with the president since the center's establishment in 2011.

Soon after his inauguration in January, President Dong Ryeol SHIN ordered the installment of automatic doors in the major buildings and also introduced vehicles for the mobility of disabled students. The global challenge program for disabled students was also established based on the President's suggestion that disabled students should be also given the opportunity to experience the educational programs of other global universities.

The Center for Students with Disabilities will be holding the Global Challenge Program in Singapore from September 25th to 29th. Students will visit the Singapore Business School's Center for Disabled Students and the Singaporean Embassy and have a general experience about the assistance system for disabled people in Singapore.
